Keokuk Medical Center is a primary care, outpatient clinic located in Keokuk, Iowa.  KMC is staffed by two Family Practice Doctors, Dr. Annette Oetken and Dr. Misty Bowen, who provide quality health care to patients of all ages.  They are supported by a full team of health care professionals focused on your good health. Together they are bringing the health care services you need in a welcoming, caring environment. KMC is conveniently located and offers onsite laboratory and radiology services.

Patients at KMC are seen by appointment only, with same day appointments possible.  Clinic hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.  To make an appointment, call 319-524-0123.

Dr. Annette, Oetken, D.O.

Family Practice Physician, Dr. Annette Oetken provides primary care at KMC for patients age four and older.  Dr. Oetken brings over 19 years of experience to KMC.  She was born and raised in Mount Pleasant, Iowa attending medical school at Des Moines University. Dr. Oetken completed her Residency at University Community Hospital of Tampa, Florida.  She then opened Hometown Medical Center in Mount Pleasant which she managed for 14 years.  The past five years, Dr. Oetken was employed by Mercy Family Medicine of Muscatine. 
“I believe health care is a partnership.  I give my opinion and we work together toward a solution that best fits my patient’s needs,” she expressed. “I especially enjoy working with people 50 plus, helping to manage their good health as well as chronic diseases.”

Dr. Misty Bowen, D.O.

Dr. Bowen provides primary care for patients of all ages from infants through adulthood as well as spinal manipulations and treatments for muscles and nerves.
Dr. Bowen completed her undergraduate degree at Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri and worked as an x-ray technician prior to going to medical school at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine.  She completed her residency at University of Missouri- Kansas City in Family Medicine.   
“I love making a positive difference in the lives of my patients and I am so excited to be part of the FMCH and the KMC team!  I can't wait to meet all my new patients!” expressed Dr. Bowen. “I am from the Fort Madison/Donnellson area having lived here most of my life.  My first job was a CNA at the nursing home in Donnellson at the age of 15.  My mother is a nurse who worked in Fort Madison for years and introduced me to healthcare. I cannot think of anywhere I would rather finish raising my children and settle down.”
