Dr. Derek Breder Joins FMP&S Orthopedic & Sports Clinic

FMP&S Orthopedic & Sports Clinic is pleased to welcome Dr. Derek Breder.  Dr. Breder joins Dr. Brent Woodbury and Physician Assistants, Paul Ostby and Ted Smith in the care of patients experiencing musculoskeletal concerns.

Dr. Breder completed his Residency at the University of Kansas Hospital, Department of Orthopedic Surgery. Dr. Breder received both his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Medicine degrees from the University of Iowa.

“Dr. Woodbury and the rest of the orthopedic team provide top quality orthopedic care for a vast array of musculoskeletal problems. I was immediately impressed by the state of the art facility and amazing staff. There are very few small communities that have orthopedic care as comprehensive as this and I consider myself lucky to be part of it,” expressed Dr. Breder. “Musculoskeletal problems can be incredibly debilitating and being able to help someone regain their mobility and quality of life and most of all their independence is extremely rewarding.”

Dr. Breder will provide health care to patients in the prevention and correction of injuries or disorders of the skeletal system and associated muscles, joints, and ligaments.

“My wife and I both grew up in Mediapolis and our families have lived there for several generations.  We want to give back to a community that has given us so much.”

Dr. Breder is accepting new patients. To make an appointment call, 319-376-1135. For more information, go to www.fmchosp.com.
