Pat Bira Resigns as CEO

The Fort Madison Community Hospital Board of Trustees has accepted the resignation of Pat Bira as President /CEO of the organization, effective July 31st, 2017.  Jeremy Alexander, Vice President, Finance, will fulfill this role until an interim President/CEO is identified. 

“While Pat has only been with Fort Madison Community Hospital for a short time, FMCH benefitted from his over thirty years of experience. We thank him for his dedication to our organization and appreciation of the culture of quality that persists here,” said Board Chair Bob Bonta. 

David Yackell, vice president of Quorum Health Resources, explained: “Quorum will place an interim President/CEO at FMCH in the next few weeks, then work with the FMCH Board of Trustees to conduct a national search for a permanent replacement for this position.”
