Dr. Bryant Mutchler

Fort Madison Physicians & Surgeons clinic welcomes Dr. Bryant Mutchler, D.O., to the medical staff. Dr. Mutchler joined the medical staff of Fort Madison Physicians & Surgeons clinic in 2007. As a Family Practice physician, Dr. Mutchler sees patients of all ages.

Dr. Mutchler completed Medical School at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri. He completed his residency at the Waterloo Family Practice Residency program, a subsidiary of the University of Iowa. Born and raised in Storm Lake, Iowa, Dr. Mutchler always enjoyed science and had a compassion for people, a natural combination to enter the medical profession. “I was in high school and realized that it would not satisfy me to work in a lab somewhere. I wanted to help people in a direct way,” said Dr. Mutchler. He has been doing just that as a Family Practice physician at the Covenant Clinic in Waterloo, Iowa for the past eleven years.

“The most rewarding aspect of my job is to make a difference in people’s lives, and to see their health improve,” said Dr. Mutchler.

Dr. Mutchler keeps busy with his two young daughters. He also enjoys playing the violin, reading, working with computers and riding his Honda motorcycle.

“People need to be given the tools and knowledge to improve their health, which is where I come in. Then they need to work at it one day at a time and not give up,” said Dr. Mutcher.
