Dr. William Napier

William Napier, M.D., joined the medical staff of Fort Madison Physicians & Surgeons in July 2002. A native of Fort Madison, Dr. Napier returned to the area after completing his residency at the Christus Santa Rosa Family Practice in San Antonio, Texas. As a Board Certified Family Practice physician, Dr. Napier sees patients of all ages.

Dr. Napier is a graduate of the University of Texas Medical School. He was in an activated unit of the US Army Reserves during Desert Storm. "After returning from the Middle East, I had the opportunity to work closely with several physicians at Brooke Army Medical Center. Those physicians sparked my interest in medicine and encouraged me to pursue this career," said Napier.

Dr. Napier and his wife, Deborah, reside in Fort Madison with their two daughters, Elizabeth and Gabriella. Outside of spending time with his family, Dr. Napier also enjoys woodworking, travel, music, reading and gardening.

"Helping people get better is so rewarding. I have a strong desire to work hard to improve the quality of my patients' lives," said Napier.
