Dr. Timothy Staudte

Timothy Staudte, D.O., F.A.C.O.G., joined Fort Madison Physicians & Surgeons in May 2004. A native of St. Louis, Dr. Staudte is returning to the Midwest after practicing medicine for nearly 10 years. As an OB/GYN, Dr. Staudte sees female patients of all ages with gynecological or obstetrical needs. In addition to routine obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Staudte also has specialized training in high risk obstetrics, advanced laparoscopy, urogynecology and minimally invasive pelvic reconstructive surgery.

Dr. Staudte followed his lifelong dream of becoming a doctor and graduated from the Western University Of Health Sciences Medical School in 1990. Since that time Dr. Staudte has delivered over 1500 babies and says that each one is "still as new and exciting as the first."

"Nothing can compare to the feeling of seeing a mother look into her child's eyes for the first time. It is a privilege to have a small part in helping couples establish their families and witness the miracle of birth," said Dr. Staudte.

Dr. Staudte and his wife, Deborah, relocated to Fort Madison with their three children, Natalie, Ryan and Nicole. "Life is a sacred gift and the family is the most important organization in the world. That is one of the main reasons why our family has decided to relocate to Fort Madison, so we can have more quality time together."
