Dr. Vanaja Thondapu

Dr. Vanaja Thondapu is part of the Fort Madison Physicians & Surgeons Clinic, Board Certified in Internal Medicine. She has practiced medicine at Fort Madison Community Hospital for over 6 years. She is a graduate of Osmania Medical College in Hyderabad, India.

Dr. Thondapu thrives in challenging situations. "I enjoy the challenge that the ever-changing field of medicine provides," said Dr. Thondapu. She continues, "I enjoy the challenge of a difficult diagnosis." Dr. Thondapu also enjoys spending time with her daughter and growing herbs in her garden. She is an avid reader.

"The people that benefit the most from seeing an internist are those with multiple medical problems and those over the age of 60," Dr. Thondapu explains. "I enjoy meeting a great variety of people and dealing with a great variety of conditions, from diabetes to heart disorders."
