Fort Madison Community Hospital Auxiliary

What is the Fort Madison Community Hospital Auxiliary?

The Fort Madison Community Hospital Auxiliary was created to promote the welfare of Fort Madison Community Hospital, to create interest in its goals and objectives, to assist in services of the hospital and to provide scholarships. Membership in the Auxiliary is open to all. Annual membership dues are $5.00.
Each year, the Auxiliary awards scholarships to high school seniors who are pursuing a health-related education. The Auxiliary often purchases equipment and supplies for the hospital to fill a special need.

To fund their projects, Auxiliary members volunteer their time in the hospital gift shop. All proceeds from the gift shop support the Auxiliary's scholarship fund. Members also organize and carry out fundraisers, such as book fairs, throughout the year. Auxiliary members often volunteer in other areas of the hospital.
